Our commitment.
The Truthful Therapist is committed to making its website content accessible and user-friendly for everyone. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to test our pages against that standard on an ongoing basis.
What we've done.
- Semantic HTML with meaningful headings, landmarks, and lists.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background across the palette.
- Visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and cookie preferences.
- Descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images.
- Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
- Responsive layout that reflows without loss of content at 320px width and at 200% zoom.
Known limitations.
A small site is still a site under construction. We are aware of and working on the following:
- Some embedded third-party content (video players, podcast embeds) may not fully match our own accessibility standards.
- Older PDF downloads may lack full tag structure. If you need one in an accessible format, write to us and we'll send it.
- Decorative brand elements (the coral underline animation, hairline rules) are hidden from assistive technology by design.
Assistive technologies we test with.
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS with Safari.
- NVDA on Windows with Firefox and Chrome.
- Keyboard-only navigation across all modern browsers.
Tell us when something is wrong.
If any part of this site is difficult to use, or if you need a page or document in a different format, please write to Pamthetruthfultherapist@gmail.com. Include the page URL and a short description of the barrier. We aim to respond within five business days and will provide the information in an accessible alternative while we work on a permanent fix.
